The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast partly cloudy and humid weather for Karachi during the next 24 hours, with chances of drizzle or light rain in the morning and night.

The maximum temperature in the city is expected to stay between 31°C and 33°C, while the minimum was recorded at 28°C. Humidity currently stands at 78%, with sea breezes blowing at 15 kilometers per hour.
According to the PMD, temperatures in the port city may rise slightly in the coming days, hovering between 32°C and 34°C. Sea breezes from the southwest are likely to continue.
Elsewhere in Sindh, the weather will remain hot and humid. Meanwhile, Balochistan’s Quetta and most adjoining districts are forecast to experience clear and dry conditions, though rain is expected at isolated spots in Zhob and Musakhel.
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a rain alert, warning of possible urban flooding in Karachi from August 30 to September 2. Thatta, Sujawal, Badin, and Tharparkar are also expected to receive rainfall during the same period, while Hyderabad, Dadu, Sukkur, Ghotki, Larkana, Jacobabad, and Kashmore may face downpours between August 30 and September 1.

Earlier this month, heavy rains paralysed Karachi, leaving 10 people dead due to electrocution and collapsing roofs. Pakistan continues to face a deadly monsoon season, with floods and landslides killing over 800 people nationwide since June.
