The highly anticipated Ramazan drama featuring Amar Khan and Imran Ashraf is set to premiere on the first day of the holy month. The show promises to be a blend of situational comedy, romance, conflicts, and interesting parodies of well-known personalities, catering to a wide range of viewers. The show’s writer and actor, Amar Khan, revealed that the drama is inspired by the comedy plays of the ’80s and ’90s, such as Fifty Fifty, Sona Chandi, and Uncle Urfi, which were known for their engaging parodies and pop culture references.

Khan’s character, Heer Jatt, is described as a TikTok sensation and a go-getter with audacity, adding vibrancy to social media. The drama is a tribute to the well-thought-out and layered comedies of the past that catered to all age groups, not just family dramas. Khan hopes that the drama will bring positivity and happiness during Ramazan, and her goal is to elicit laughter, tears, and excitement from the viewers.

The drama also reunites Khan with her Dum Mastam co-star, Imran Ashraf, and is produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi of Geo 7th Sky Entertainment, with Saima Waseem directing. Khan worked tirelessly on the script for four months, ideating around the clock to come up with 30 episodes, a significant challenge for someone from a film writing background.

In conclusion, the upcoming Ramazan drama is an exciting addition to the TV screen, promising to be a mix of nostalgia and refreshment, providing family-friendly entertainment during the holy month.
