An artificial intelligence powered web browser called ChatGPT Atlas has been released by OpenAI. The browser, which is based on ChatGPT, is made to assist users with various internet-browsing tasks. According to OpenAI, Atlas is more than just a standard browser because it functions as an intelligent assistant that enhances the naturalness and interactivity of web use.

Instead of using search bars or clicking links, users can ask questions directly with ChatGPT Atlas. The browser can highlight key points from an article, book airline tickets, compare products, and summarize web pages. There is an Ask ChatGPT button on every page that enables users to discuss the content right away.
Additionally, Atlas recalls previous exchanges to provide more tailored recommendations. Users, however, are in complete control of their data and can choose whether to keep it or remove it. Only ChatGPT Plus and Pro subscribers can use the browser to automatically accomplish tasks like online shopping, flight booking, and meeting scheduling.
Any web page’s content can be summed up and explained with the aid of an integrated ChatGPT sidebar. OpenAI claims that by providing a brand-new, AI-powered browsing experience, ChatGPT Atlas has the potential to emerge as a serious rival to established browsers like Google Chrome. Versions of the browser for Windows, iOS, and Android will be released soon. It is currently available for macOS.
