inDrive, a global mobility and services platform, has partnered with LearnOnline.pk to launch free online courses designed to equip its drivers with essential digital skills. The initiative reflects inDrive’s commitment to uplifting communities by creating opportunities for growth, innovation, and financial independence.
These courses aim to equip drivers with the skills to enhance their livelihoods and explore new avenues for growth. Participants who complete these courses receive certificates that can be added to their resumes, helping them demonstrate their skills and improve employability.
Commenting on the initiative, Awais Saeed, Country Head of inDrive Pakistan, said: “Our vision for drivers goes beyond providing earning opportunities through ride-hailing and courier services. Through these capacity-building initiatives, we want to empower them to build sustainable futures in the digital economy.”
Usman Zeb, Co-Founder and CEO of LearnOnline.pk, said: “We believe quality education is a right, not a privilege. That’s why we’ve built Pakistan’s largest free digital training platform, designed to make learning accessible for everyone. Partnering with inDrive allows us to extend this vision to its drivers by giving them access to practical digital skills that can change their lives. Our focus is on creating pathways that not only uplift individuals but also contribute to the digital progress of Pakistan as a whole.”

To ensure accessibility and impact, the program has been carefully designed to meet both the professional and personal development needs of drivers. The learning journey comprises three specialised courses: an introduction to freelancing to help drivers build online income streams, a digital basics course tailored to enhance daily operations with tools for communication, safety, and efficiency, and an AI-focused module that familiarises them with practical tools to boost productivity and creativity.
This initiative underscores inDrive’s broader mission to extend its impact beyond ride-hailing. While the platform continues to provide affordable and convenient mobility solutions for passengers and livelihood opportunities for drivers, it is equally focused on community empowerment. By introducing skill-building programs and other initiatives that support economic growth, inDrive aims to make a significant contribution to Pakistan’s digital and social development.
