Canva, the popular graphic design platform, faced a widespread service outage on Monday, leaving users in Pakistan and other regions unable to log in or access their projects.

The disruption, which lasted several hours, caused inconvenience for students, professionals, and content creators who rely heavily on the platform for visual design tasks.

Users encountered repeated “Connection timed out” errors when attempting to load the website. The issue affected routine tasks such as preparing presentations, designing social media posts, and working on collaborative projects.

Canva acknowledged the technical fault through its system status page, confirming that users were facing difficulty accessing the platform due to timeout errors.

The company’s engineering team worked throughout the day to address the issue, and by the afternoon, access appeared to be restored for most users in Pakistan.

Though no temporary solution was provided during the disruption, Canva later issued an update stating that the service had resumed normal operations. Users in Pakistan confirmed that the platform was once again functioning.

The outage highlighted the heavy dependence on digital platforms like Canva and raised concerns about the lack of backup options during such interruptions. Canva has not yet released a detailed explanation of the cause.
