Sadia Iqbal has reached the summit of the ICC Women’s T20I Bowling Rankings, becoming the number one bowler in the world in the format. The left-arm spinner displaced England’s Sophie Ecclestone, thanks to a string of impressive performances.

Iqbal’s rise is a significant moment for Pakistan’s women’s cricket, with her accurate and economical spells earning her praise across the cricketing world. Her ability to apply pressure in key overs has been central to Pakistan’s recent T20 successes.

India’s Deepti Sharma now sits second, while Australia’s Annabelle Sutherland has climbed to third. Ecclestone has dropped out of the top three.

However, the batting rankings remain a concern for Pakistan, as no national player features among the top 10. Australia’s Beth Mooney continues to lead the chart, with her consistency at the top order proving vital for her team.

In the all-rounder category, West Indies’ Hayley Matthews holds first place, followed by Deepti Sharma. Pakistan’s skipper Nida Dar remains in seventh position, contributing regularly with both bat and ball.
