Cristiano Ronaldo has made history once again by becoming the world’s first billionaire footballer. The Portuguese superstar’s net worth has reached an estimated 1.4 billion dollars, according to Bloomberg’s latest Billionaires Index, equal to more than 393 billion Pakistani rupees.

The 40-year-old football icon’s wealth surged after he signed a massive $400 million deal with Saudi club Al Nassr in June this year. Bloomberg noted that between 2002 and 2023, Ronaldo earned over 550 million dollars from salaries alone, while his long-term deal with Nike brings him about 18 million dollars every year. His other brand endorsements have added another 175 million dollars to his fortune.
Ronaldo’s transfer from Manchester United to Al Nassr in 2023 made him the highest-paid footballer in history, with an annual salary of 177 million pounds. His career earnings, combined with his global brand partnerships, have now placed him in a league of his own.
