The 10th season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) began with a grand celebration at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, marking the first time the venue hosted the league’s opening match.

A large crowd gathered to witness the vibrant ceremony that combined music, culture, and cricket.

The evening started with children dressed in Pakistan’s national colours singing the anthem. Franchise owners stood beside the PSL trophy as the event officially began.

The show then moved into a spiritual and cultural segment, where renowned singer Abida Parveen delivered a powerful performance inspired by Sufi tradition.

Dancers joined her on stage, performing traditional movements that added a local flavour to the event.

The mood quickly shifted when the Young Stunners appeared, delivering an energetic performance that brought fans to their feet. Their high-paced music kept the energy levels high throughout the stadium.

Following that, singer Ali Zafar took charge with his popular songs, engaging the crowd in singalongs.

He later performed the official PSL 10 anthem alongside Natasha Baig and Abrarul Haq, which further thrilled the audience.

After the ceremony, Islamabad United, winners of three PSL titles, prepared to face Lahore Qalandars, who have won the trophy twice, in the tournament’s first game.
