PSL 10 to Resume on May 17

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revealed the remaining match schedule for the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), which will resume on May 17. The highly anticipated tournament will kick off with a thrilling encounter between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Rawalpindi will host a double-header on May 18, with Quetta Gladiators taking on Multan Sultans in the afternoon match, followed by a clash between Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalandars. The last fixture at the stadium will take place on May 19, where defending champions Islamabad United will face Karachi Kings.

The action will shift to Lahore’s iconic Gaddafi Stadium for the Qualifier, Eliminator 1, and Eliminator 2, scheduled for May 21, 22, and 23, respectively. The grand finale will take place on May 25 at the same venue.

All evening matches will begin at 7:30 PM PST, with the only afternoon match set for a 3:30 PM start. Details on ticket sales are expected to be released soon.

The PSL was temporarily suspended due to rising tensions between India and Pakistan, as well as security concerns near Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Initially, the remaining matches were moved to the UAE, but the PCB decided to pause the tournament following directives from Pakistan’s Prime Minister.

Currently, Quetta Gladiators lead the points table, securing a playoff spot, while Karachi Kings and Islamabad United follow closely. Multan Sultans have been eliminated from contention after a tough season.
