Pakistan has approved visas for all Indian journalists who sought accreditation to cover the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025.

Pakistan has approved visas for all Indian journalists who sought accreditation to cover the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025.

Seven Indian journalists applied for visas, and sources have confirmed that all their applications were successfully processed, with no rejections.

The event will see eight teams including Pakistan, India, Australia, and Afghanistan, competing in the two groups.

The tournament will kick off with a match between Pakistan and New Zealand on February 19 at the National Stadium Karachi.

One of the most eagerly awaited fixtures is the clash between Pakistan and India, scheduled for February 23 in Dubai.

The arch-rivals last met in the ODI World Cup 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, where the host won.

The Men in Green have the upper hand over the opposition in the Champions Trophy, as they defeated the Virat Kohli-led India in the final of the 2017 edition.

In a total of five encounters in the Champions Trophy, the Green Shirts have managed to defeat the Men in Blue three times.
