The Pakistan National Women’s T20 Tournament 2024 kicked off on January 15, with three matches played simultaneously across three venues in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. The tournament features six teams, including Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Peshawar, Quetta, and Rawalpindi, who will play each other twice in a double round-robin league format. The opening day saw Quetta beat Karachi by six wickets, Lahore eased past Multan with a 10-wicket win, and Rawalpindi registered a comfortable win by seven wickets against Peshawar.

The tournament will run until January 31, with the final to be played on that day. The prize money includes PKR one million for the champion side, PKR 0.5 million for the runners-up, PKR 50,000 for the Player of the Tournament, PKR 20,000 for every Player of the Match, and PKR 25,000 for each of the best batters, bowler, and wicketkeeper of the competition. The Pakistan National Women’s T20 Tournament 2024 is a great opportunity for women cricketers to showcase their talent and skills.
