In a historic performance on Wednesday, New Zealand broke Australia’s record for the highest team total in the history of the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy.
The Blackcaps posted an imposing 362/6 in their second semi-final against South Africa, with centuries from Rachin Ravindra and Kane Williamson leading the charge.
Ravindra was the top scorer, hitting 108 off 101 balls, while Williamson added 102 from 94 deliveries.
The duo laid a strong foundation, and with vital contributions from Daryl Mitchell and Glenn Phillips, New Zealand set a new benchmark in the competition.
Interestingly, the top three highest totals in the history of the ICC Champions Trophy were all set in the 2025 edition.
