Multan Sultans Vow to Aid Palestinian Children with On-Field Performances

Multan Sultan to Support Palestine children during the ongoing much-anticipated Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10th edition

Multan Sultans have pledged to support charities working for children in Palestine during the ongoing 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

The franchise announced that they would donate funds for every six or wicket achieved by their players throughout the tournament.

The declaration was made by team captain Mohammad Rizwan at the toss ahead of a recent PSL fixture.

He mentioned that the team had decided to contribute to the cause of Palestinian children as a gesture of solidarity.

Rizwan shared that each six, four, or wicket would be linked to a charitable donation.

Prior to this public announcement, Multan Sultans’ owner Ali Tareen had released a video message with the same message.

Tareen explained that the idea stemmed from the players themselves, who expressed a strong desire to support those affected by the conflict in Gaza.

He revealed that the franchise would donate PKR 100,000 for every six hit and every wicket taken by a Multan Sultans player during PSL 2025.

These contributions will go directly to charities focusing on the needs of children in Palestine.

Tareen described the initiative as a unified decision by the entire team.

He noted that both batters and bowlers wished to contribute in their own way, and the franchise was proud to turn their intentions into action.

The gesture has been met with praise across social media, with fans and humanitarian voices lauding the move as an example of using sport for a greater purpose.

As the tournament continues, Multan Sultans hope to keep making an impact — both on the field and in the lives of children far beyond the boundary.
