India Beat Pakistan by 61 Runs in T20 World Cup Clash

India Beat Pakistan by 61 Runs in T20 World Cup Clash

In a high-voltage match of the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, India defeated Pakistan by 61 runs. The exciting game was played at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on February 15, 2026.

Batting first, India posted a strong total of 175 for 7 in 20 overs. The star of the match was Ishan Kishan, who scored a brilliant 77 runs from just 40 balls. He played confidently on a difficult pitch and hit some powerful shots all around the ground. For his outstanding performance, he was named Man of the Match.

India lost an early wicket when Abhishek Sharma was dismissed in the first over by Salman Ali Agha. However, Kishan continued to attack the bowlers and kept the scoreboard moving. Captain Suryakumar Yadav also added an important 32 runs from 27 balls. Pakistan spinner Saim Ayub was the most successful bowler for his team, taking 3 wickets for 25 runs in four overs.

Chasing 176, Pakistan struggled from the start. The team kept losing wickets at regular intervals and could not build any strong partnerships. They were all out for 114 runs in 18 overs.

India’s bowlers showed great control and discipline. Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah took 2 wickets for 17 runs, while spinner Axar Patel picked up 2 wickets for 19 runs. Their efforts helped India dominate the match.

With this win, India once again proved their strength against Pakistan in ICC tournaments. The victory added another memorable chapter to the famous cricket rivalry between the two teams.
