Batting first, the West Indies posted 294 runs, while Pakistan collapsed to just 92 all out. The loss marked the Caribbean side’s first ODI series win over Pakistan in 34 years, making the defeat even more painful for supporters.
This was also only the fourth time in the West Indies’ history that they have won an ODI by more than 200 runs. The team, which failed to qualify for the 2023 World Cup, secured the series 2-1 in dominant fashion.
Social media platforms were flooded with sharp criticism. Fans questioned the leadership and vision behind Pakistan cricket, calling the performance “embarrassing” and “unacceptable.”
