Former Australian cricketer Brad Hogg has become embroiled in controversy after a video surfaced showing him laughing as an impersonator mocks Pakistan’s ODI captain Mohammad Rizwan.

The video, circulating on social media, features a content creator imitating Rizwan’s speaking style and proficiency in English.

Hogg is seen laughing along as the impersonator humorously compares Rizwan’s famous phrase, “Ya to win hai ya learn hai,” and mimics his language skills.

Pakistan pacer Aamir Jamal has strongly condemned Hogg’s actions, calling them “shameful.”

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Jamal pointed out that English is Rizwan’s third language, emphasizing that Hogg’s behavior was uncalled for.

Jamal further accused Hogg of seeking attention by ridiculing the cricketer and suggested he should join TikTok for more followers.

Rizwan, who was recently dropped from Pakistan’s squad for the T20I series against New Zealand, is set to lead the team in the upcoming ODI series starting March 29.

Despite a challenging ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 campaign, where Pakistan failed to progress past the group stage, Rizwan remains a key figure in the squad.
