Pakistan cricket team skipper Babar Azam, who was rested during the Afghanistan T20I series, will be participating in the upcoming Ramadan cricket tournament in Lahore. The tournament, organized by the Ghani Group, will feature nine teams, including several national stars.

Former Test cricketer Salman Butt, who is the tournament director, announced during a press conference that Babar Azam would be leading the Ghani Institute of Cricket (GIC) team. The team will also comprise Shadab Khan, Hussain Talat, Usama Mir, and Abbas Afridi. Additionally, other notable players, including Mohammad Amir, Khushdil Shah, and Imam-ul-Haq, will be playing for their respective teams in the tournament.
