Ali Tareen Steps Away from Multan Sultans

Ali Tareen, the owner of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) team Multan Sultans, has decided to step back from the franchise. His announcement came through social media, bringing an end to his seven year journey with the team. This move also marks a major shift in the ownership of the Multan Sultans.

According to Tareen, the decision was difficult but necessary. He said that he would not renew his stake in the franchise, especially at a time when the PSL’s overall management is facing challenges. His message made it clear that he was unhappy with the direction the league was taking.

Tareen openly expressed his frustration with PSL officials and other team owners. He said that the environment had become too difficult to work in. Still, he reminded everyone that he always remained committed to the Sultans, even when the team was facing financial losses.

In his statement, Tareen shared that being part of the Multan Sultans was one of the greatest honours of his life. He explained that the team was never about money for him. Instead, it was about passion, loyalty, and responsibility. He said he never thought of leaving, no matter how tough the situation became.

He also added that he is an outspoken person who does not believe in compromise when it comes to principles. His strong stand suggests that he felt the current PSL environment no longer matched his values.

With his departure, Multan Sultans prepare for new ownership and new beginnings. Fans now wait to see what direction the team will take in the coming season.
