An earthquake rattled several parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday, with tremors reported from the north to central regions of the province.

Shaking was felt in districts including Charsadda, Chitral, Swat, Lower and Upper Dir, and Buner. Areas like Mardan, Malakand, Nowshera, Abbottabad, and Swabi were also affected, along with border towns such as Khyber, Landi Kotal, and Jamrud.

Mohmand, Shangla, Hangu, and Bajaur reported seismic activity as well. The incident caused temporary panic, though there have been no reports of loss of life or structural damage at this stage.

Authorities are gathering data to assess the full impact. The public is urged to remain calm and stay updated through official channels in case of aftershocks.
