A disturbing video showing a security guard manhandling an elderly woman at the WAPDA complex in Sheikhupura has gone viral, triggering widespread public outrage and prompting swift action from authorities.
The incident occurred when the woman visited the WAPDA office to seek correction of her electricity bill. In the widely circulated footage, the woman can be seen pleading with the guard, who is then seen forcibly dragging her out of the office premises.

The video has drawn strong condemnation across social media platforms, with citizens demanding accountability and justice for the mistreatment of the elderly.
In response, the Senior Circle Officer (SCO) of WAPDA has taken immediate notice of the incident and initiated a formal inquiry. “Such behavior is unacceptable and will not be tolerated under any circumstances,” stated the SCO in a press release.
Acting on the directives of the District Police Officer (DPO) Sheikhupura, the security guard has been arrested and a case has been registered against him.
