Punjab Inspector General of Police, Dr. Usman Anwar, has issued a warning to PTI activists who are using violence to prevent the police from arresting Imran Khan. He stated that those who resort to violence will be apprehended with the help of CCTV footage and will be tried under the terrorism act for damaging public property and setting police vehicles on fire.

The police, under the leadership of DIG Operations ICT Shahzad Bukhari, has been tasked with arresting Imran Khan for compliance with a non-bailable arrest warrant. However, protesters have been attacking law enforcers with stones and sticks, causing injuries and damage to public property.

The police are committed to implementing lawful court orders and will arrest Imran Khan with the help of the police force. The injured personnel is receiving treatment at hospitals, and the police are identifying the violent protesters for arrest. The police have requested parents to stop their children from using violent means of protesting, as it could damage their professional and academic careers.

Dr. Anwar has stated that an additional force has been acquired for the implementation of the court orders, and they will act with force if necessary, but they aim to implement the orders without causing any major damage.
