MULTAN: Popular TikTok personality Hakeem Shahzad has been arrested by the Crime Control Department (CCD) after a video of him hosting a mujra (dance party) went viral on social media.
In the clip, attendees were seen showering money on dancers, with influencer Dania Shah also appearing in the footage. Authorities said Shahzad was taken into custody from his residence in Shujabad near Multan after the controversial video circulated widely online.

Following his arrest, another video surfaced showing Shahzad in modest attire, wearing a prayer cap, and issuing a public apology. In the statement, he admitted to hosting the party and making inappropriate remarks at a time when Pakistan is grappling with devastating floods.
“Today, CCD called me and advised me, making me understand. I am very ashamed,” Shahzad said. He pledged to donate the money spent at the event to flood victims and appealed for forgiveness from the public and authorities.
Hakeem Shahzad, who is widely followed on TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook, is known for sharing self-made remedies and lifestyle content. His arrest has sparked debate online, with critics condemning his actions while others urged leniency after his apology.
