The Ministry of Religious Affairs has taken a step to protect Umrah pilgrims from fraudulent practices by releasing a verified list of authorised companies for the Islamic year 1447 AH.
According to the spokesperson, a total of 113 Umrah operators have been cleared and approved to provide services this year.
The full list is available on the official website. Pilgrims have been strongly advised to confirm the name of the company on the site before making any booking or financial transaction.
The spokesperson stressed that all payments must be made through banks and directly deposited into the verified account of the company.

Pilgrims should also demand a payment receipt and a copy of the agreement for record-keeping and legal safety.
The approved companies have been directed to offer complete Umrah packages, covering visas, flights, transportation, and accommodation.
This ensures that pilgrims receive all essential services without hidden costs or the risk of exploitation.
