The SUPARCO has shared its weather outlook for the upcoming month of Ramadan 1447 Hijri. According to the forecast, most parts of Pakistan are expected to experience pleasant weather during the holy month.
Temperatures will remain moderate at the start of Ramadan, bringing relief to people who will be observing fasts. However, the weather is expected to become warmer from the second week of March. A gradual rise in temperature is likely in many cities across the country.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has also supported this outlook. PMD Deputy Director Anjum Nazir Zaighum stated that overall conditions will remain comfortable in most regions. This is good news for citizens preparing for long fasting hours.
Meanwhile, in Karachi, the Met Office has predicted partly cloudy weather for the next 24 hours. There are also chances of rain and thunderstorms in the city. Residents have been advised to stay updated with weather reports.
Although Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will officially announce the start of Ramadan after moon sighting confirmation, weather experts believe conditions during the month will remain mostly stable.
As Ramadan approaches, people across Pakistan are continuing their preparations, hopeful that the expected pleasant weather will make fasting easier and more comfortable.
