The Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has invited applications for new domestic connections, which will now be processed only under RLNG-based tariff.
According to the details, preference will be extended to applicants who already paid urgent fees or demand notices before the connection ban by government.
These applicants can secure RLNG supply after signing contracts, providing consent, and paying the difference in security charges against the revised connection framework.
SNGPL confirmed that individuals previously applying for conventional system gas may submit fresh applications under RLNG on either normal merit or fast-track basis.
The fast-track category requires an urgent fee of Rs25,000, while normal applications carry no submission fee but follow the standard waiting process.

Connection charges for RLNG supply include refundable security of Rs20,000 and service line costs ranging between Rs1,500 to Rs3,000, depending on property size.
The company clarified that RLNG connection charges will be significantly higher, with the imported gas tariff set around seventy percent above domestic gas rates.
Under the new structure, SNGPL and SSGC may provide RLNG connections to fifty percent of applicants annually, ensuring fast-track supply within three months.
SNGPL, the largest integrated gas company, currently serves millions of domestic and commercial customers across Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
