The holiday will be celebrated at Ghotki, Sukkur, Khairpur, Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, Matiari, Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Dadu, Badin, Thatta, Karachi West, Karachi East, and Keamari.
To preserve calm during the election, Pakistan’s Election Commission has ordered that Sindh Rangers be sent to polling sites deemed “most sensitive,” notably in Karachi and Umerkot.
Authorities said the action is intended to ensure safety and smooth voting in regions where law enforcement anticipates potential disruptions.
