LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced a landmark initiative to allocate 1,220 residential apartments to industrial workers, with a strong emphasis on transparency and worker welfare. The announcement was made during the 28th meeting of the provincial cabinet, which approved a comprehensive 130-point agenda.

The flats, located in Labour Complexes at Sundar, Kasur, and Taxila, will be distributed free of cost to eligible workers through a transparent balloting process, marking a significant step toward improving the living standards of the province’s industrial workforce.

“This government stands by its workers. Their well-being is not a favor but a right,” she stated.
