Police have arrested five people in connection with the murder of Ahmed Javed, the only son of a well-known college owner in Lahore. The main suspect, Abubakar, and two security guards are among those taken into custody. The incident took place in DHA, where Ahmed was shot dead after a minor dispute turned violent.

Police said another key suspect, Abdullah, is still on the run, and search teams have been formed to arrest him soon. According to officials, the fight started over a small argument but quickly escalated when the accused opened fire, killing Ahmed and injuring another man named Suhrab.
Ahmed Javed was described as a kind and bright young man. He was the only son of Adil Rasheed, who owns a reputed chain of private colleges in Lahore. The shooting occurred at a house in DHA Phase 7, where several suspects, including two young girls, were also taken in for questioning.

In his complaint, Adil Rasheed told police that his son went to meet friends and never returned home. When he went to look for him, he saw Abubakar, Abdullah, and other armed men leaving the house while firing shots. Inside, he found his son and another man lying in a pool of blood. Ahmed was taken to a hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.
