Pakistanis Can Visit These Countries Without a Visa

Visas

Despite remaining one of the least powerful travel documents globally, the Pakistani passport still allows its holders visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to over 30 countries, offering a rare window of convenience for international travel.

These destinations span across Asia, Africa, and the Pacific, enabling Pakistanis to visit places like the Maldives, Nepal, Qatar, and several island nations such as Vanuatu, Tuvalu, and Samoa. African nations including Burundi, Comoros, and Guinea-Bissau also allow easier entry, reflecting growing efforts by some countries to enhance people-to-people connections through relaxed entry policies.

This access can benefit Pakistani travelers by reducing the time, cost, and procedural hurdles typically associated with visa applications. It also encourages tourism, supports cultural exchange, and can be useful for students, entrepreneurs, and professionals seeking international exposure.

However, officials advise travelers to remain cautious. Visa-free or visa-on-arrival does not mean unrestricted access; rules may differ based on duration of stay, purpose of visit, and current diplomatic or health advisories. Travelers are urged to check official government sources or embassy websites before departure.

Meanwhile, dozens of other countries offer e-visas to Pakistani nationals. Though not as effortless as visa-free entry, e-visas remain a more accessible option than traditional embassy-based visa applications.
