The Government of Pakistan has declared ‘Marka-i-Haq’ as the official theme for this year’s Independence Day celebrations, aiming to highlight national unity, resilience, and the country’s firm commitment to safeguarding its sovereignty.
The decision was made during a meeting chaired by Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal, who underscored that recent developments had strengthened Pakistan’s image as a peaceful yet uncompromising nation. He said the country had entered a new chapter where citizens, state institutions, and the armed forces had demonstrated a united front.
Ahsan Iqbal called upon all sectors to use Independence Day as a chance to celebrate national progress across areas such as governance, economic reform, technology, and international relations.
