Pakistan Railways Announces Five Special Eidul Azha Trains

Pakistan Railways schedules five special Eidul Azha trains from June 2–4. Routes include Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, Peshawar & Rawalpindi.

In anticipation of increased travel demand during Eidul Azha, Pakistan Railways has announced a schedule of five special trains to facilitate passengers across major cities of the country.

Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi unveiled the special Eid train schedule on Monday, June 2, emphasizing the importance of zero tolerance for negligence. He warned that any lapses in service or performance by officials or staff will lead to strict disciplinary action.

According to the official statement, the first special train departed from Karachi to Lahore at 1 PM today (June 2).

On Tuesday, June 3, three special trains will operate:

  • The second train will run from Quetta to Peshawar at 10 AM.

  • The third train will depart from Lahore to Karachi via Multan at 5 PM.

  • The fourth train is scheduled to travel from Karachi to Rawalpindi at 8 PM.

The fifth and final Eid special train will depart from Karachi to Lahore on Wednesday, June 4 at 8 PM.

All special trains will include economy and business standard class compartments, according to a Pakistan Railways spokesperson.

These special services aim to ensure a smooth and convenient travel experience for citizens planning to reunite with their families during the religious festival.
