In a strong gesture of solidarity, the Pakistan Army has donated one day’s salary to support rehabilitation efforts for victims of the devastating floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), the military’s media wing ISPR confirmed on Friday.
According to ISPR, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir issued special instructions for comprehensive rehabilitation of flood-hit communities. The Army has pledged full support for the affected population, with additional units deployed to strengthen relief and rescue operations.

ISPR further stated that specialized units, including the 9th Rescue Sniffing Dog Unit and the Urban Search and Rescue Team, are actively engaged in locating missing persons and assisting displaced families.
A security source emphasized: “Pakistan Army stands shoulder to shoulder with the brave people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in every moment of difficulty.”
The initiative highlights the Army’s dual focus on immediate humanitarian relief and long-term recovery in one of the worst-hit provinces.
