The National Database and Registration Authority has announced a special mobile registration facility for overseas Pakistanis residing in Saudi Arabia this week.

According to NADRA, a mobile team will be available in city of Dammam on September 26 and 27 to provide multiple documentation services to Pakistanis.

The services will include new Smart NICOP issuance, re-print, clearance, conversion of NICOP, cancellation, as well as Smart NICOP and Family Registration Certificate.

The registration team will remain available at Tamimi New Camp and Zohran Eastern Province from eight in the morning until three in the afternoon.

Earlier, NADRA introduced multiple fee payment methods, enabling citizens to make payments in cash at NADRA offices or through JazzCash, Easypaisa, and E-Sahulat.

A digital payment option has also been introduced where citizens can scan a QR code via mobile banking applications for instant cashless payments.

These initiatives are aimed at providing overseas Pakistanis and local citizens with an access to essential registration services without unnecessary delays or procedural complications.

Earlier this week, NADRA announced that it will soon roll out facial recognition technology to support elderly citizens facing difficulties with fingerprint verification.

NADRA spokesperson Shibahat Ali had said the initiative will make biometric verification simpler for senior citizens who struggle due to age-related changes in fingerprints.

He stressed that the authority remains committed to ensuring smooth access to services for all citizens, especially vulnerable groups.
