Mustafa Amir was kidnapped and killed by his friends. Police found evidence, but the case saw delays, judicial concerns, and social media-driven action.
23-year-old Mustafa Amir was kidnapped and brutally killed by his friends Armaghan and Sheraz on January 6. Later, Armaghan retaliated by shooting at police when they stormed his home.
From them, police gathered illicit firearms. Bloodstains on the carpet and the phone of the abducted and killed youngster Mustafa Amir were also discovered at Armaghan’s home. Mustafa was loaded into Armaghan’s automobile and driven to Hab, a region of Balochistan, with his companion Sheraz.
The automobile containing Mustafa’s body was then set on fire there, and Mustafa passed away. The news is really depressing. All parents should learn from this situation that they should not only watch over their children but also take care of their company.
What kind of individuals are his pals? At the beginning of the video message, Mustafa’s mother claimed that SSP Ali Hassan was not paying attention to her grievances over her son’s disappearance. She declared that she will bring a formal complaint against SSP Ali Hassan.
Furthermore, Mustafa’s mother has stated that all of this occurred as a result of a girl named Martha Shahid, who was Mustafa’s lover. For the previous couple years, they were together. Martha cheated on Mustafa several times, according to his mother, and they both took narcotics. She further claimed that Martha had threatened Mustafa’s life via Armaghan. Additionally, Armaghan and Martha Shahid were romantically involved.
She said that Martha Shahid should be detained by the police since she was also implicated in this crime. When it comes to Martha Shahid, she travelled abroad on January 12th, but the police are attempting to contact her again through Interpol. When it comes to Armaghan, Sheraz discloses that he is in police prison, as is his companion, who was also implicated in this crime.
However, a number of concerns come up, such as why Mustafa’s mother did not notify the police if she was previously aware of everything pertaining to Martha and Armaghan. The DNA found in Mustafa’s deceased corpse matches that of his mother. and was buried by volunteers from the Eidi community.
The deceased will be exhumed for a postmortem upon court orders. In a different video message, Mustafa’s mother stated that she is awaiting justice from the Sindh government and police after the Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) revealed a lot of information regarding Mustafa’s death. but, when it comes to the steps taken by the police and courts in this instance, they were not very serious; but, following the social media coverage, the police and legal system have taken action.
The hearing on the police demand to remand Armaghan from court is scheduled on Monday, February 16. Despite this, the court has granted the Sheraz police authority to be placed under remand for six days. Additionally, Iftekhar, the investigating officer, and SHO Zulfiqar of the Darakhshaan police station have been suspended for their non-serious attitude.
It is startling that rather of remanding Armaghan, the judge in the counterterrorism court, Zakir Hussain, took action against the police. Police have appealed this decision in the Sindh High Court.
Additionally, the blood samples found in Armaghan’s home match those of Mustafa’s mother, and police have appealed exhumation. An actual instance of this was when Armaghan opened fire on police during a raid on his home. The DSP and a few of his police colleagues get injuries. Including the automobile without a number plate, 50-plus laptops have been confiscated from Armaghan’s residence, which were used for scamming.
However, it is distressing to learn that Judge Zakir Hussain, aware of all these circumstances, has decided to place Armaghan on judicial remand rather than body remand for inquiry. CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah was shocked by this and stated that judges ought to be held accountable for similar cases.
What’s more startling is how Armaghan’s father reacted in court when he attempted to enter the judge’s chamber and intimidate cops by claiming to be an American. This event is another illustration of how young, wealthy males in Karachi have turned into a serious threat to the public, and we will now have to wait and watch what the police do in this instance. These wealthy individuals also attempt to stifle the government with their financial might.
