The Punjab government is moving forward with a large-scale project to improve the accuracy and accessibility of land ownership records across the province.

As part of the Punjab Urban Land Enhancement Project, authorities have announced that land maps and property records will be displayed publicly in various locations. This step is aimed at making it easier for citizens to view and verify their land information.

The records are based on recent field surveys and have been compiled to reflect current ownership data. People will be allowed to check their information and point out any errors. Officials have confirmed that all corrections will be made at no cost to the public.

The project has already been launched in several areas, and officials plan to implement it in Lahore soon. After public verification, the revised records will be uploaded to the Punjab Land Records Authority’s online portal for broader access.
