The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) reported a distressing toll of 35 lives lost and 43 individuals injured over the past five days. The impact of the adverse weather conditions has been severe, with 346 houses partially destroyed and 46 completely ravaged, leaving numerous families displaced and grappling with the loss of their homes. Additionally, the inclement weather has led to the tragic loss of 76 cattle, further compounding the challenges faced by the affected communities.
As relief efforts are underway to assist those impacted by the calamity, authorities are actively providing aid to affected populations in various areas such as Charsadda, Lower and Upper Dir, Bajaur, Khyber Nowshera, and Peshawar.
