Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has issued a stern warning of war if India initiates any form of aggression. In an interview with Sky News, Asif stated, “Whatever step India takes, Pakistan will respond appropriately.”

He emphasised that any Indian attack would lead to a full-scale conflict between the two nuclear-armed neighbours, urging the international community to take the threat of escalation seriously.
“India has previously carried out false flag operations, which have only fueled tensions further,” he said.
Asif cautioned that even a minor misstep could spiral into a devastating conflict. Addressing the role of major powers, he remarked,
“President Trump, as the leader of a global power, has intervened in various international crises. He could also play a constructive role in easing tensions between Pakistan and India.”
