Pakistan’s media community is in deep shock after the sudden death of well-known digital journalist and anchor Raja Matloob Tahir. He passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025, following a tragic road accident in Islamabad. His untimely death has left colleagues, friends, and followers heartbroken.
The accident took place on Srinagar Highway near the G-11 sector of the capital. According to initial reports, the crash happened due to over-speeding, which caused the vehicle to lose control. Raja Matloob suffered serious injuries in the accident and was rushed to a nearby hospital. Sadly, doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Raja Matloob was widely known for his strong presence in digital media. He worked as an anchor and journalist with the online platform Daily Pakistan. Through his shows and social media content, he often spoke openly on public, political, and social issues.
