Mushtaq Ahmed has announced plans to file a Rs 35 crore defamation lawsuit against Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis, accusing of harassment.

The leg-break spinner revealed in a YouTube video that his legal team would issue formal notices to both cricketers.

The former cricketer clarified that while he respects fair criticism, he believes their actions crossed the line into harassment.

Mushtaq intends to seek Rs 20 crore in damages from Waqar Younis and Rs 15 crore from Wasim Akram.

Despite their long-standing association in cricketing history, tensions appear to have risen, prompting Mushtaq to take legal action.

While the nature of the alleged harassment remains unspecified, Mushtaq made it clear that he seeks accountability for the alleged behavior.

In response to claims made by Mushtaq, Waqar apologized, while Wasim Akram dismissed the allegations and planned a legal response.

Some observers saw the exchange as lighthearted, with Waqar suggesting it could enhance the entertainment value of show.
