A claim circulating on social media suggests that Kasim Khan, son of imprisoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, said in an interview that he was looking to Israel to help secure his father’s release.
The claim originated from a video clip posted on X (formerly Twitter) on July 30, where users alleged that Kasim stated: “Our eyes are towards Israel now. My father has done a lot for Israel, and now they should help us too.”

The 39-second clip being circulated has been misrepresented. In reality, Kasim never mentioned Israel during the interview with US-based news channel Real America’s Voice (RAV).
Instead, Kasim clearly stated: “We are looking to America at the moment” for support, explaining that many in the US have expressed concern over his father’s imprisonment. He added that seeking US support “might be the only route out at the moment.”

Kasim’s remarks came in response to a question about who, globally or in Pakistan, could help secure Imran Khan’s release from jail.
The claim that Kasim Khan said he was looking to Israel is false. The video clip has been taken out of context and miscaptioned on social media.
