ISLAMABAD – Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed announced that several foreign countries are actively seeking training opportunities with the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), praising the force’s operational excellence and professionalism.

The statement came during a joint press conference with Vice Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz and DG ISPR Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, following Pakistan’s strategic aerial operations against India.

Aurangzeb highlighted that during Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos, the PAF successfully targeted five Indian fighter jets, including three Rafales, and executed the largest single-mission strike on Indian airfields since 1971. He credited Air Chief Zaheer Ahmad Babar for leading the response, which aimed to restore deterrence, neutralize threats, and control the air.

DG ISPR added that 26 Indian military sites were targeted, including locations in IIOJ&K and mainland India, with care taken to avoid civilian casualties. The Indian S-400 systems were also hit.

He confirmed that India launched drone attacks on civilian areas, which were neutralized by Pakistani counter-systems. DG ISPR also denied viral rumors about the capture of an Indian female pilot, calling them fake news.
