A two-member gang impersonating delivery workers has been arrested in Lahore for allegedly committing multiple robberies in upscale neighbourhoods, police confirmed on Sunday.

The suspects, who reportedly carried out 13 house robberies in the Gulberg area, were taken into custody near Jallo Park after officers tracked their movements over several days. During the operation, law enforcement officials recovered a pistol and a significant amount of cash from the accused.

According to police investigators, the duo had adopted the appearance of delivery personnel to approach residential homes. Once granted access, they would rob the occupants at gunpoint. Authorities said that several CCTV recordings had surfaced from the crime scenes, which played a crucial role in identifying and locating the suspects.

Officials believe the gang had specifically targeted affluent areas, taking advantage of the trust people generally place in home delivery services. Police stated that further investigations are under way and more arrests could follow if links to a wider network are established.
