Former Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Chaudhry Tanveer was arrested on Tuesday outside the Lahore High Court’s Rawalpindi Bench after his pre-arrest bail plea was dismissed by the court.
Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan denied Tanveer’s request for bail in a murder case linked to the killing of Chaudhry Adnan. Following the court’s ruling, police officials immediately detained Tanveer from the court premises.
The case, registered at the Civil Lines Police Station, names Tanveer as a key suspect in the high-profile murder investigation. His arrest marks a major development in the case, which has gained considerable public and political attention.
