Eid-ul-Adha gas load shedding schedule announced

Karachi to receive uninterrupted gas supply during Eid days; regular schedule resumes after June 10.

The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has announced a revised gas load shedding schedule for Karachi during the Eid-ul-Adha holidays.

According to the official statement issued by the utility provider, gas supply will be temporarily suspended at 12:00 AM on Friday, June 6, slightly later than the usual shutdown time of 9:30 PM, to accommodate pre-Eid preparations.

On Saturday, June 7, the first day of Eid-ul-Adha, gas supply will be restored at 5:00 AM and will remain uninterrupted throughout the day, ensuring smooth cooking and festivities for the citizens.

The company further confirmed that there will be no gas shutdown on Sunday, June 8, the second day of Eid, and uninterrupted gas supply will continue on Monday, June 9, the third day of Eid, until midnight.

From Tuesday, June 10, the gas load shedding schedule will return to its regular timings.

SSGC officials stated that the special schedule is aimed at facilitating the public during one of the most important religious festivals in the country.
