The couple’s relationship began in 2016 following their meeting at a Gucci boutique in Madrid. Since then, they have built a family together, raising three children alongside Ronaldo’s eldest son, Cristiano Jr.
According to Spanish media, the engagement ring boasts an oval-cut diamond weighing approximately 25 to 30 carats. Jewelry experts estimate its value to range between $2 million and $5 million, depending on its clarity and craftsmanship.
The proposal coincides with a significant phase in Ronaldo’s career, as he currently plays for the Saudi club Al-Nassr and remains among the highest-earning footballers worldwide.
The couple has endured both joyful moments and profound hardships, including the tragic loss of one of their newborn twins in 2022. Ronaldo had previously indicated that marriage would occur when “the time is right.” This engagement marks a significant milestone in their long-standing relationship.
