Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced PKR 1 million compensation for each flood-affected family in Pindi Bhattian and Hafizabad, as the government steps up support for disaster-hit communities across the province.
The announcement was made by Punjab Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb on behalf of the chief minister during her visit to flood-affected areas where she met with displaced families and local residents.
“The aid cheques will be distributed among the flood affectees on behalf of the Punjab chief minister,” stated Marriyum Aurangzeb.

The victims expressed their gratitude for the financial assistance, with many raising slogans in support of CM Maryam Nawaz for her swift response and leadership during the crisis.
The compensation package is part of a broader provincial initiative to provide timely relief to communities impacted by monsoon-triggered flooding, which has damaged homes, displaced families, and disrupted livelihoods in several districts of Punjab.
This financial support aims to help affected families rebuild their lives and recover from the devastating effects of the recent natural disaster.
