Banks to Remain Open on Saturday for Hajj 2026 Applications

ISLAMABAD – The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has directed 14 designated banks to keep their branches open on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to facilitate the collection of Hajj 2026 applications.

The decision was made on the request of the Ministry of Religious Affairs & Interfaith Harmony to ensure that all registered applicants have adequate time to submit their forms before the deadline.

Under the Hajj Policy, the following banks have been authorized to collect applications: National Bank of Pakistan, Habib Bank Limited, United Bank Limited, MCB Bank Limited, Allied Bank Limited, Bank Alfalah, Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited, Faysal Bank, Askari Bank, Bank Al-Habib, Habib Metropolitan Bank, Soneri Bank, Meezan Bank, and Bank Islami.

The collection period began on August 4, 2025, and will conclude on August 9, 2025. The SBP has advised all participating banks to ensure smooth processing and facilitate applicants across the country.
