Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has stressed the importance of civil-military harmony, good governance, and inclusive development while reaffirming the Army’s support for the socio-economic uplift of Balochistan.
According to an ISPR statement, the Army Chief made these remarks during his visit to Turbat, where he was briefed on the security situation, ongoing operations against “Fitna al-Hindustan,” and development initiatives in the region. Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, the chief secretary, and senior officials were also present.

Munir underscored the need for infrastructure building and people-centric development, calling for joint efforts between civil and military institutions to address Balochistan’s challenges.
He reiterated that the Pakistan Army would continue standing “shoulder to shoulder” with the people of the province in their pursuit of peace and prosperity.
During his interaction with troops, the Army Chief praised their high morale, operational readiness, and dedication to safeguarding national sovereignty. He commended their role in maintaining peace and stability under difficult circumstances.

Upon arrival, Field Marshal Asim Munir was received by Corps Commander Balochistan.
