Mild to moderate tremors were felt in Quetta and surrounding districts, prompting residents to leave their homes as a precaution. The PDMA said the earthquake was recorded and analysed through automatic seismic monitoring.

No casualties or property damage have been reported so far. The Provincial Emergency Operations Centre is coordinating with district authorities to further assess the situation.
