A 14-year-old boy named Farhan has died in the Khawazakhela area of Swat after reportedly being subjected to prolonged physical abuse by three of his madrassa teachers. The incident has triggered widespread outrage in the region.

According to initial reports, the teachers allegedly took turns beating Farhan for several hours, locking him in a room where he endured extreme torture. Tragically, the teenager did not survive his injuries.

The local community reacted strongly to the news. Farhan’s family, joined by residents of the area, blocked the main road in Khawazakhela Bazaar in protest. They demanded strict legal action against the teachers involved and called for urgent government intervention to ensure student safety in religious institutions.

During the demonstration, one of Farhan’s classmates revealed that the assault continued without pause, as each teacher carried out beatings one after another. A video circulated on social media showing frightened madrassa students and scenes of violence, suggesting the issue may extend beyond a single incident.

The disturbing footage has intensified calls for reforms. Residents urged authorities to establish proper oversight mechanisms in madrasas to prevent such tragic events in the future.

Police officials confirmed that a case has been registered against three individuals: Muhammad Omar, his son Ehsanullah, and another teacher named Abdullah. Abdullah has been taken into custody, while law enforcement continues to search for the other two suspects.
